Laws of the Republic of Armenia

  • Law on Citizenship: This law indicates the stipulations that regulated the acquisition of the Armenian citizenship after independence. Since the last amendment in the year 2007 dual citizenship for Armenian citizens is possible under certain conditions. Especially the latter aspect is of importance as many migrants keep their Armenian citizenship when leaving the country to keep the option of at least temporary return.
