Minorities of Armenia

In August 2012 the project Minorities of Armenia a sociolinguistic and sociocultural survey has  started under the direction of Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Schulze at the Institut für Allgemeine und Typologische Sprachwissenschaft of the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich. This 3-year research project which is funded by the VolksWagen Foundation aims at an interdisciplinary documentation of the present-day situation of the minorities in Armenia, emphasizing the individual groups' self-perception and the parameters which these groups refer to for the construction of their identity.
